Andy grew up playing baseball in a small town in California. He achieved much success early in his career, winning three section titles, a league MVP, and All-American honors in high school. While Andy's college career was complicated by injuries in college, including an elbow injury that required Tommy John surgery his freshman year and a torn labrum his sophomore year, he managed to finish his career strong. His last ever start was a complete game, three-hit masterpiece in the rubber match of a best-of-three playoff series. Now a coach, Andy hopes to continue inspiring young ball players with his story and knowledge of the game.
